What it does
The module keeps the equipment register with passports and meters, the maintenance standards per equipment model and the execution of work through work orders.
A work order closes task by task: while a task has no report or a material line is not issued, it cannot be closed. The closing meter reading feeds straight back into the forecast of the next service.
Capabilities
- equipment register: passports, documents, registration, several meters, fleet number as the key
- meter readings with input validation and recalculation of the maintenance plan
- a builder of maintenance standards per model: service types, intervals by meter, checklists, documents and parts
- a catalogue of standard jobs with materials by equipment model
- maintenance plan as a table and as a Gantt chart with drag across days
- defects and repair requests, the repair downtime queue
- work orders with statuses from planned to technically closed, printable work order, component replacement at closure
- a register of parts being awaited with a notification on arrival, machine-hour cost from fuel and materials
What the company gets
- maintenance is planned by running hours, not by what the mechanic remembers
- a work order cannot be closed until the tasks are reported and the materials are issued
- it is clear which machine is down and what it is waiting for
- the repair and component replacement history builds up machine by machine
