What it does

The module runs assignments that come out of meetings: each meeting has its own participants, and every task has an owner of the question, an assignee and a due date.

There are only two states, in progress and done, while overdue is derived and shown in the header of the system.

Capabilities

• meetings as blocks with their own participants, with "my tasks" as the default view
• a checklist inside a task that gates its completion
• handing a task over in three modes: delegation that keeps responsibility, reassignment, and return to the owner, each with a justification and a history
• assignee report with attachments, due-date shift with justification, messages inside the task
• assignments from decisions: an approved request spawns tasks that link back to the decision
• jumps from a task into the work order, request, purchase order, goods receipt, document or equipment card
• an overdue counter in the header of the system
• an archive of completed work recording who closed it and when

What the company gets

• decisions taken at meetings do not get lost between meetings
• it is clear who is responsible right now and why the task moved
• overdue work is visible to everyone, not only at the meeting
• an assignment stays linked to the document or work order it came from
